The 23rd PENSA was held from October 19th to 22nd at the Taipei International Convention Center. This was the first face-to-face meeting after the COVID-19 pandemic, and a number of l academic lectures were held, which was a meaningful opportunity for information exchange.

According to a instruction by Wang Zhaoyuan, chairman of the Taiwan Society of Intravenous and Enteral Nutrition Medicine, more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries/regions around the world, and more than 65 expert speakers gave professional lectures in the academic program.

The theme of PENSA 2023 is “Progress of Nutrition in Diseases and Therapeutic Modalities: What is the Future Trend?, and the participants were interested not only from Asia but also from Europe and America. Otsuka Group served as a conference sponsor, and in addition to exhibiting its booth, it also held a luncheon symposium, which was attended by approximately 360 people.

This time, Otsuka Group invited Professor Naoki Hiki and Professor Koichiro Matsuo to give lectures on nutrition policies and clinical experiences of various countries at academic conferences. KOLs and employees from Otsuka companies such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong visited Taiwan and had lively discussions and exchanges.

Thanks to OPF’s support and assistance, this PENSA event was successfully held. TWOP would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude. On the final day, the Society highly valued the cooperation and contribution of Otsuka Group, and General Manager Matsuo received a letter of appreciation at the award ceremony at the banquet.
