In support of World Environment Day on June 5, Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical held an ESG workshop,
demonstrating the company’s strong commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility.
Over the years, the company’s ESG training framework has evolved progressively—from the “individual” level in the first year,
to the “department” level in the second year, and now further expanding to the “organizational” level this year.
This year’s program was designed in particular to incorporate DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion),
with the aim of helping employees move beyond understanding these concepts in theory and into meaningful practice.
By doing so, the company hopes to further embed the spirit of diversity and inclusion into its organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
General Manager Matsuo remarked, “Through this program, I hope everyone will not only gain a better understanding of ESG and DEI,
but also reflect on how to put these ideas into practice in their daily work.
By starting with ourselves and with every small action, we can gradually influence our teams and our organization,
and together build a workplace that is more resilient, more inclusive, and more strongly connected.”
Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical has long remained attentive to environmental and social issues.
Looking ahead, the company will continue to amplify the power of change from within,
working hand in hand with all employees to fulfill its commitment to corporate sustainability.
