Driven by the spirit of “Ryukan-godo” and our core value of altruism,
employees from Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s Zhongli Factory took action to give back to society.
On their day off, they voluntarily formed teams of corporate volunteers
and collaborated with the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation’s Zhongli Station No. 2
to carry out a heartfelt outreach initiative.

On the day of the activity, the foundation provided a list of elderly individuals living alone who were in need of care.
Our employees split into four groups and visited twelve households in the Zhongli area,
personally delivering daily necessities and heartfelt greetings.
Through this interaction, the elderly felt the warmth of being cared for,
while our volunteers experienced the powerful joy that comes from helping others.

This initiative is part of our internal “ONE OTSUKA 2.0” program.
Building on the “ONE FAMILY” spirit of past years, the new slogan “ONE TEAM ONE DREAM”
encourages employees to realize their dreams through teamwork and to engage in more proactive,
hands-on social contributions. This collaboration with the Huashan Foundation
marks the first of four CSR initiatives planned, with more to follow by June next year.

At Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical, we believe that true corporate social responsibility lies not only in the provision of resources,
but more importantly, in the genuine willingness to act. Moving forward,
our ONE OTSUKA team will continue taking steps to spread love through action—planting seeds of care
in every corner of society and helping build a brighter, more compassionate future for Taiwan.
