Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical, driven by the spirit of corporate social responsibility
and hospitality, has donated NT$1 million to assist disaster victims; all donations were
meant to provide emergency medical care, accommodation and shelters, as well as
recovery and reconstruction efforts. The donation was decided with a goal to support
the regions and disaster victims in Taiwan suffering an enormous damage caused by
an earthquake. We believe being a responsible company means contributing and
taking on a commitment to the society. Our employees have also made voluntary
donations as initiatives that reflect our social values.

With the prompt coordination of resources, we have prioritized the delivery of
vital emergency supplies to vulnerable populations, including the critically
ill individuals in need of rescue. Our commitment comprises donations and
sponsorship with a special focus on activities that complement our purpose:
to enable better resettlement of the victims and to assist in the aftercare
activities as much as we can. The entire Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical
family remains committed to these efforts, united in their endeavor to help
those affected by this disaster.
