Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. identified a potential data leakage incident on October 15, 2026.
In response, the Company has activated its information security incident response procedures and is continuing to investigate the incident
and implement necessary and immediate remedial measures to mitigate any potential impact.

The investigation remains ongoing. The Company has taken, and continues to implement, the following measures:

1. Information Security Response and Investigation
System Review and Data Restoration: We are working with an external cybersecurity team to conduct system reviews, data restoration, and a comprehensive investigation of the incident.
Security Management Measures: We have adjusted account and password management policies and are continuing to review and strengthen necessary information security safeguards.

2. Regulatory Notification and Stakeholder Communication
Regulatory Notification: Following the discovery of the incident,
the Company notified the relevant competent authorities and local government agencies in accordance
with applicable procedures and will continue to cooperate fully with any subsequent inquiries or investigations.

Information Disclosure: In addition to providing the above information to external stakeholders through this notice,
the Company will proactively provide timely updates to the public and relevant stakeholders should there be any material new findings or changes in the information currently available.

3. Follow-up Actions and Preventive Measures
The Company will continue to determine the types and scope of data potentially involved,
as well as any possible impact arising from the incident. Based on the findings of the investigation,
we will also review our information security management framework and related safeguards to reduce the risk of similar incidents occurring in the future.

If the investigation confirms that personal data is involved,
the Company will take necessary measures to notify and protect affected individuals in accordance with applicable laws and the findings of the investigation.

as the investigation progresses and further information is confirmed, provide necessary updates through appropriate channels.
