On June 15, Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical held its“AI Forum”at the head office.
The event was designed to encourage employees to actively integrate AI tools into both their work and daily lives,
and featured two special initiatives: a call for entries for the event’s key visual design and an interdepartmental presentation competition on AI applications.
During the forum, General Manager Matsuo noted that the key question for the future is“which tasks and functions will be redefined.”
In the face of this structural transformation, companies must shift from a passive to a proactive stance,
rethinking talent development and business processes during this critical window for AI adoption,
while guiding teams toward higher-value professional judgment and human-centered interaction.
To fully embody the spirit of putting technology into practice, the forum was held in a hybrid format, both online and offline.
From the check-in process to the real-time voting and scoring system,
every step was designed and built by colleagues from the AI department using AI-driven methods and programming, helping achieve a paperless, greener, and lower-carbon event.
Following a series of inspiring presentations, the Sales Department took first place.
Their presentation demonstrated how AI systems can be used to automate administrative management in a comprehensive way,
assigning routine and time-consuming tasks to AI agents so that pharmaceutical sales professionals can focus on creative thinking and customer engagement.
The result highlighted the practical value of AI and perfectly embodied the core spirit of the AI Forum: empowering employees to collaborate with AI and create value together.
