At Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical, we firmly believe that talent is our most valuable asset.
This internship program marks an important starting point in our journey
toward sustainable growth and expanding our talent pipeline.
The in-person interviews held on Monday, May 12, signaled the program entering a highly competitive phase.
Out of over 350 applications, 21 outstanding candidates—from third-year university students to second-year master’s students—
were shortlisted after a comprehensive evaluation by our department heads.

The interview process was divided into two main sections: self-introduction and a case study.
Despite having only five minutes each, candidates impressed with their well-prepared presentations,
highlighting their diverse academic backgrounds and internship experiences to capture the attention of the interviewers.

During the lunch break, our team split into two groups—
one leading candidates on an office tour while introducing the company’s philosophy, embodying our spirit of hospitality.
Meanwhile, the interviewers engaged in a 30-minute discussion to select the 12 finalists moving on to the next stage.

In the afternoon case study, the 12 candidates were paired in teams of two
and tasked with designing a go-to-market plan for a specific product.
Their strategies demonstrated strong logic, presentation skills, and teamwork.
Each student showcased remarkable potential and professionalism, leaving a lasting impression on our managers.
Through this selection process, we not only identified future talents
but also witnessed the younger generation’s innovation and sense of purpose within the pharmaceutical industry.
