Donation of Public Welfare Coffee Machine to the Taiwan Foundation for Rare Disorders on March 4, 2025

Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical has launched a public welfare initiative
to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility. Since October 2024,
a public welfare coffee machine has been installed in the Taipei office,
allowing employees to purchase coffee at an affordable price. For every cup of coffee purchased,
the company donates an equivalent amount to organizations supporting underprivileged groups.
Through this initiative, employees are encouraged to participate in charitable activities
through their daily actions, while also reinforcing the company’s positive social impact.

The first recipient of this donation is the Taiwan Foundation for Rare Disorders (TFRD).
On March 4 of this year, Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical invited Ms. Chen Guan-Ju,
CEO of TFRD, to the Taipei office for a donation ceremony. Chairman and CEO,
along with other senior executives, attended the event to present the donation.
During the ceremony, CEO Chen expressed her gratitude for Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical’s
support and shared the foundation’s dedication to serving and assisting patients
with rare diseases. This event exemplified the warm collaboration between corporations
and public welfare organizations in caring for patients with rare diseases.
