For the third time, the One Otsuka Team from the Zhongli Factory came together on a weekend
to take real action in a corner of the community that deeply needs compassion and care.

This time, the team visited the Xinwu Stray Dog Shelter, home to approximately 500–700 stray dogs.
Upon entering the kennels and witnessing their living environment, many team members were visibly moved.
While the shelter provides safety and basic needs—free from hunger, homelessness, and road dangers—space and resources remain limited.
Because of the sheer number of dogs, most receive only minimal daily care,
making even just 15–20 minutes of outdoor walking and sniffing an invaluable experience for them.

The One Otsuka Team divided into groups and took turns caring for nearly 200 dogs—feeding, walking, and observing their condition to check for wounds or abnormalities.
Time passed quickly amidst the steady rhythm of care and compassion, and soon, dusk quietly arrived.

Crouching to meet their eyes and feeling the warmth of life through your hands—this simple, heartfelt act of accompaniment brought meaning to every moment of fatigue.
For the One Otsuka Team, this wasn’t just another volunteer day—it was a gentle reminder:
that beyond our everyday routines, there are still many lives quietly waiting to be seen, to be loved.
