On March 12, Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical held the "Local Revitalization × Sugarcane Planting"
event,expanding its commitment to environmental sustainability beyond last year's beach cleanup
efforts to include land restoration this year. Led by Chairman Hsu Shin-Yi and
General Manager Masashi Matsuo, 116 employees gathered in Baoshan, Hsinchu,
to plant sugarcane seedlings by hand, promoting carbon absorption and
supporting local industries—demonstrating a concrete commitment to ecological sustainability.

Employees actively participated in hands-on farming experiences, including harvesting sugarcane,
extracting juice, and boiling syrup, gaining a deeper understanding that the company
is not only dedicated to product development but also committed to environmental and
social responsibility. Taiwan Otsuka Pharmaceutical firmly believes that CSR
is not just a one-time initiative but a core aspect of corporate management.Looking ahead,
the company will continue to advance the “Giving Back to the Land” initiative,
expanding to more regions and developing actions in forest conservation, carbon neutrality,
