To cultivate more potential employees capable of carrying forward the company’s sustainable development,
Taiwan Otsuka’s Human Resources Department initiated the NGP project
to guide participants through a retrospective journey of the company’s history since its founding,
encouraging them to gain a deeper understanding of the core values
that continue to drive the Otsuka Group forward—namely,
“Ryukan-godo (Gaining Insight Through Hard Work)”, “Jissho (Self-actualization)”, and “Sozosei (Innovation)”.

As part of the program,
course members viewed a commemorative film celebrating the 100-year growth of the Otsuka Group.
Coupled with vivid real-life examples and invaluable historical materials,
the instructor led participants to experience the critical decisions and courageous vision
that shaped Otsuka from its early challenges to its global expansion.
These historical milestones are not merely footsteps of the past;
they are the spiritual legacy refined and passed down through generations of Otsuka people,
reminding us that today’s achievements are built on the bold innovations
and tireless efforts of those who came before us.

Participants expressed that this program not only deepened their understanding of the company
but also provided a clear and profound realization of the Otsuka Group’s three core DNAs:
“Ryukan-godo”, “Jissho”, and “Sozosei”.
It further inspired them to reflect on their future roles and responsibilities
and empowered them to carry this spirit forward as a vital force propelling the company into the future.
This was more than a history lesson—it was a profound baptism of values.
For only by truly understanding the past can we lead the way into the future.
